Kirill Mogilevsky

In 1985 Kirill Mogilevsky has graduated from the State University of Management with a degree in automatic control systems and economic cybernetics. In his early career he held positions as a leading engineer and a division head in various Engineering Institutes.

Since 1992 he has been professionally involved in startup business development: was a CEO and a co-owner of numerous successful international companies, including ones designing and producing high-tech superconductors. He took an active part in the development of technological equipment for mass production of superconductors for ITER.

With many years of experience in growing companies from startup, project management, and international relations Kirill took the position of the CEO of LLC Kinetic in 2012 to lead the commercial development of superflywheel energy storage. 

Sergei Vorontsov

In 1996 Sergei Vorontsov has graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute with a degree in engineering technology. In 2000 he obtained a degree in business administration from the Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University.

Since then Sergei has held senior management positions in various industrial companies. His experience includes revitalization of manufacturing companies in the industries ranging from food and wood processing to mechanical engineering. He is the author of several technical inventions and a co-owner of manufacturing companies in Russia.

In 2012 Sergei has joined the team of LLC Kinetic to focus on the operational management and development of the production system.

Nurbei Gulia

Nurbei Gulia is a Russian scientist and inventor in the field of flywheel energy storages, mechanical variators, hybrid vehicle drivetrains; Doctor of Technical Sciences; professor; member of the International Academy of Ecology, member of the Union of Russian Writers. For more than 30 years, Nurbei was actively involved in patenting – on the Supervisory Board and Expert Board of the State Inventions and Discoveries Committee. 

Nurbei Gulia was born in Tbilissi, USSR where he later graduated from the Technical University. In 1964 Nurbei Gulia patented the world's first superflywheel: explosion- and rupture-proof flywheel of increased energy capacity. In 1973 Nurbei was awarded Doctor of Technology and from 1977 has worked as a professor in the Moscow State Industrial University, where he continued to work on mechanical energy storages for transport, as well as developed mechanical variators and flywheels for hybrid vehicles. 

Dr. Gulia is the author of more than a hundred scientific papers and articles, more than 30 books and other publications. He is the inventor of more than 400 various devices and holds the 2nd place in the ranking of the top “Russian Scientists and Inventors”. 

Alexander Lavrentev

In 2010 Alexander Lavrentev has graduated from the Moscow State Industrial University with degree in engineering of mechanical transmissions and energy storage systems.

He is the author of numerous scientific articles and several inventions, nominee of international scientific conventions and conferences. 

Alexander's professional interests lie in the field of kinetic energy storage systems, mechanical transmissions, and electric drives. He was the head developer of flywheel energy storages for hybrid motor vehicles, flywheel energy storages for aviation, and energy storage test stands. Alexander has developed methodologies and procedures, as well as software for flywheel energy storage trials. 

He has a great experience in design and production of friction variators, bifurcated power transmission, complex electric drives, power electronics and automatics. 

Sergey Yurkov

In 1998 Sergey Yurkov has graduated with distinction from the Moscow State Industrial University and received the President of Russian Federation scholarship. 

Sergei is a candidate of technical sciences, an expert in mechanical systems: motor vehicle transmissions, mechanical energy storages, combination actuators. He has a considerable experience teaching engineering in universities, is the author of more than 30 scientific and methodological papers, several higher education textbooks.
